Postnatal Pilates for your long term recovery

PERFECT ❤️

Yesterday I finished writing the first draft of Postnatal Pilates which will publish with @bloomsburypublishing – a book which draws together my experience of Pilates for my own postnatal recovery and that of the hundreds of postnatal clients that I’ve had the privilege to work with over the past 10 years. It’s a bit of a passion book for me – mums recovery, building your strength, kindness and energy ❤️Pilates .

One thing that I stress in the intro is that there is no perfect time to focus on your healing and recovery. And if the perfect time presents itself, it’ll very soon be interrupted or sabotaged by your beloveds. So, seize your time NOW.

If you’re feeling under par, weak, in pain, regular niggles and aches…it won’t magically go away however much you wish it to. Take ownership of your recovery. Be curious about your body. Be loving towards your body.

I’m doing a few more workshops this year and then next year launching my new pre and postnatal BODY-MIND workshops combining Pilates strength with MBCT (mindfulness-based cognitive therapy) for resilience and self-compassion. I’d love to work with you to help you find your inner strength. To be calmer, happier. There is no perfect time. Meet yourself where you are NOW.

How are you today?
